🚶Off the track

As the year draws to a close and amidst the hustle of these busy days, it's been challenging to carve out time for multi day hiking. However, I've been keeping active with regular walks around town in preparation for an upcoming 9-day walk scheduled for late February.

This adventure promises to be quite an undertaking, and I'm planning to document my preparation journey over the next few months through a series of videos, similar to my ​Western Arthurs series​ this year.

🥰 Piece of Gear I have been loving

A few months back, I came across ​these reusable pouches​ and recently purchased some from Amazon. I'm planning to review them after thorough testing, but initial impressions are promising, especially for reducing Snap Lock/Ziploc bag use. They're ideal for carrying fresh ingredients during hikes. I'll share my experience soon. Credit for discovering these goes to ​Chef Corso's YouTube channel​, which offers excellent trail recipe ideas.

🤯 Video that blew my mind

I recently came across this ​stunning clip​ featuring ​Ball's Pyramid​, a remote islet near Lord Howe Island in the Pacific. The sheer magnificence of the place is beyond words. My fascination with it began a few years ago when I read about Australian adventurer Dick Smith's attempt to climb it back in the 1960s. Though skydiving there isn't on my agenda, I'm keen on the idea of a boat visit to experience its awe-inspiring presence up close one day.

Since I delved into video content creation seriously in February 2023, the positive response and growing viewer base have been rewarding. There are ambitious plans for 2024!
